On the fifth and sixth day of Christmas

On the fifth day of Christmas my son gave to me a stomach bug that meant I was knocked of my feet all day Christmas. So that’s the main reason for the lack of posting after saying I’d be posting more. I’m better now but it was a bad time sorry for not posting but I have some great ideas for posts.

But it meant no Christmas dinner for anyone in the Leighton household and a fairly rubbish Christmas. This weekend were going to try and do it again.

Before I got ill I found this magical place that’s like the internet where you can buy things but its without a computer and you walk into them instead of browsing. Its very strange as they also accept paper as well as credit cards, and they call them shops. It was a very exciting find for me, I don’t normally have time to go to them

So on the sixth day I got a really cool bottle of Port. I’m not a big port fan but at this time of the year I love a port and a cheese board (particularly a good Stilton). So this is a real Christmas present. OK only another SIX! To go.

  2. No Mrs Has Bean is a robot and hasn’t caught a thing.

  3. Mate, awfully bad luck there! Glad you are fit and well, just go esy witht he Port and Stilton…BTW do you soak your stilton in Port beforehand too? Yummy!

  4. Hmmm robot… that explains how she seems to cram 30 hours into a 24-hour day…. either that or she’s been into the grappa which vaporised whatever ‘unwantables’ were attempting to bring her down. Girl power :p

Damnit breako… port drenched stilton mmmmm *drool*.

  5. BTW do you soak your stilton in Port beforehand too? Yummy!
