Meet Up

So yesterday we had out first ever “meet up” at the roastery. For me it
couldn’t have gone better, every one was so nice, and the day
went without any one fighting or falling out ☺ On a serious note it was
great to finally see some of the people who I have spoken to on email
so many times.

It makes me realise how lucky we are to have such cool customers. The day raised £150 for our new coffee charity idea (yet to be fully formed but I’ll keep a total going on the blog and updates as it develops). I also was able to sell 100 of our empty sacks for £100, which I’m going to give to the fund also. So £250 so far, I think is good for one day and a few sacks.

So now I’m thinking about the next one in four weeks time at
York. This ones going to be great because Gordon and Marie (the shop
owners and our wonderful hosts) can do all the hard work and I can
drink coffee and relax. I hope you can come along. There are not many places left so act now.

  1. Sounds good.
Selling sacks has piqued my interest, though – do you have any plans to sell them through the site? I would love a couple…

  2. May be may be through ebay or something I haven’t thought about it too much but I will now

  3. Ace, let me know if you do!
