Sorry for being quite for a week or so. I’ve been busy, busy with work and busy formulating ideas. I’ve never been much of a academic, I’ve been much more of a doo’er than a writer, not out of choice just playing to my skills. So you wouldn’t believe my surprise when Barista Magazine asked me to write a piece for them. It started as an excitement, to blind panic looking at a blank computer screen thinking what do I write, what if people don’t like what I write, what if I make a fool of myself, what if……….

But my first draft has gone off and now I wait to see if it fits the bill. I guess I should have gotten a brief, I guess I should have formulated some ideas in a focus group or something like that. Instead I sat and I wrote, and I had huge help from a friend who did the proof reading and polishing for me and now we will see. But I’m really excited about it all, more updates as I have them.
