Thanks Steve for those awesome words means a lot, and thanks team Hasbean.

Didn't quite knock it out of the park but 11th (I think) in UK is a good start in my first semi finals appearance. The semi-finals are a big change in environment to the regional heats. Not the most enjoyable experience in the world but the most enlightening from a competition baristas point of view.

Will I do it again?

I don’t think I have represented myself or the coffee to the best of my ability. Yet on the other hand, the time, commitment and the impact it has on my loved ones is huge so the decision will take a bit of time.

Just want to say thanks to Steve and Sarah and the team who do just little more than turn them green beans brown.

Thx Gordon Marie and Tom
