Day Seven is Here

Ok well after all that caffiene its time to look after the caffine intolerant. A new decaf but an old favortie in Sumatra decaf. Take a look at it here if you want to buy it, or below to read about it.

Indonesia produces some very distinct coffees that all follow a similar style. Earthy, spicy, rich, big cups of coffee. After a recent trip, our importer was telling me that the Indonesian selection methods are a little strange. In the mill he asked if there was any Lingtong and the guys said “Yes, over there”, whilst gesturing toward some coffee. Our importer then asked if there was a Mandheling and he man pointed to the same pile, then laughed!

That aside, this coffee is another decaf that we are pleased to have found. We search for decafs all the time and reject more batches of it than we do of any other type of coffee. I don’t believe that just because you are caffeine intolerant you should have to drink poor coffee. Unfortunately, there are many others that think differently. This is spicy and malty, very thick and gloupy coffee that is perfect in espresso.
