So a big reason for wanting to make this trip was to go picking pulping of my own coffee. I've never been able to say I have picked the coffee I roast as pickings have been on farms that we have been unable to buy everything from.
I think that the roast style has nothing to do with the brew method of the coffee, nor do I believe that you should roast coffee differently for those different styles.
I don’t normally post videos for in my mug here as well as at http://www.inmymug.com but I like this one a lot even though I laugh over the top every time any one says anything.
any way I thought I’d post it here too to see what you think. comments? I enjoyed it even if you don’t
Our Twitter friends Poul Mark from Transend coffee sent me a link to this video below he did on his trip to Costa Rica of the coffee we sell Herbazu. Take a look at his blog posting here. Great work Poul thank you so much for sharing with us.
Just a very quick post to let you know the latest in my mug is up at http://www.inmymug.com
I’m really proud of this one its a 20 min first part of an interview
with two of the brothers from La Perla in Guatemala. Its the best so far as it has less of me talking and that’s got to be a good thing. I found it really interesting I hope you do to, let me know what you thoughts.
So tomorrow I’m off to Guatemala for a few days. I always panic before these trips that I’ve done everything I can to help the team here at Has Bean towers have trade customers been told and is everything in place. I guess this is the control freak in me (and trust me I am a control freak).
I’d ask you guys as customers to just keep in mind they have lost the hardest working member of staff( shh don’t tell them) for a few days, and order times may be a little slower than normal, and email response times may be not there normal before you have finished writing them a response in your inbox type of reply.
I shall come back with many a war story to share with you all.
