A Brewing Guide Episode 1: Aeropress

I could not sit on this any longer, a Friday video a brewing guide for the aeropress.

I am super pleased with it, with more to follow very soon. I’d love to hear your feedback through the normal channels.

There is also a guide below and a download pdf version here

Thanks for this guide :) It was recommended to me by my favourite local coffee place. I (being an idiot, to the amusement of all concerned) couldn’t figure out where to put the filter on, so it might be handy to add that to the end of step 8

Great guide (and great coffee), thanks! I’m still in the early days of learning all these cool things about coffee, so trying to pick up all I can. Any chance of bringing back the PDF guide from above, link is broken.

    Thanks again!!

It’s curious that you are specific on the amount of coffee (17g) but not on the amount of water. Am I missing something? I’d say you need about 295 grams of water for this amount of coffee. Probably half of this goes into the aeropress, and the other half is used to dilute what comes out.

    Hi John

I do say in the video 140ml into the aeropress, and dilute to taste
