Our main import partner held a cupping for the cup of excellence today. I always enjoy my trips to London. Meet with great people, try some great coffee’s and a trip on the train. I’m a man of simple pleasures. Any how the table was massive. the number one lot was for the first time since El Salvador a worthy winner. This coffee’s going to go for a lot of money. But luckily for us there are some coffee’s outside the top 20 that I just think the jury missed. Its a balance with the auctions to find the gems that aren’t all number ones (not everyone wants to spend £15 a bag all the time) but want to pay a good just a little above the market ones. We have our favorites marked up, so lets just wait for the auction on Tuesday.
